All About Me
Hey! I'm Alex and for the as long as I can remember I have always had a strong interest in and talent for art and design. When I was younger I spent most of my time drawing, painting, designing, and learning to sew. When I went off to college at Sacred Heart University I struggled to find the direction I should take with my art and found myself taking the path of Graphic Design and couldn't be happier. In 2018, I graduated from Sacred Heart University with a BA in Graphic Design. Additionally, I studied Fashion Merchandising as my minor while at Sacred Heart for I’ve always had a strong passion for fashion that I've taken with me my whole life through my artwork. Since graduating, I have been working as a marketing coordinator and graphic designer while also exploring many freelance opportunities from logo designs and branding for new businesses to personal invitations and fashion alterations.
With my ability to sketch and my creativity I can solve any design problems. From packaging and branding to page layout and web design, I have a wide range of design experience. Of all the projects I've worked on, editorials and page layout are by far my favorite. The most exciting part of the design world is that it is constantly changing and adapting. With that I have learned that I must too constantly adapt and innovate my design skills in order to create both relevant and aesthetically pleasing pieces. Teaching myself new skills, programs, and more has become my favorite part of what I do. There are no bounds or limits to what a designer can teach oneself in order to continually advance their designs and even outperform themselves.
As a designer I'm constantly learning, growing, adapting, and obviously loving what I do. Every year, I continue to garner new skills and look forward to future creative endeavors and the challenges they bring to my drawing board.
